Barry Herbster began Herbster Homes Inc of Charlotte, NC in the spring of 2005. Herbster Homes builds custom homes and does renovations within the Charlotte, North Carolina region. We pride ourselves in using innovative techniques to ensure a strong home from the foundation to the roof line.

Each home is constructed to meet the strict Florida codes where Barry was trained.
Steel is placed in each footing prior to pour and inspection to insure concrete strength.
Each home is unique in design and individually positioned on the land. Through the proper placement of windows, natural light and spring breezes are maximized while heating and cooling expenses are minimized.
Each window unit is caulked and insulated to prevent air infiltration and each bathroom wall has been insulated to add privacy.
Cat 5 wiring is installed throughout each home to maximize communication and entertainment options.
Materials native to the state are used to bring the beauty of North Carolina into your home.

Barry Herbster, President of Herbster Homes Inc, is a graduate of the University of Utah. While pursuing a Masters degree in Construction Management at the University of Florida, Barry began working as a building superintendent, overseeing the construction of multi million dollarhomes in South Florida. Working his way up to project management, Barry continued to oversee the construction of a number of multi-million dollar homes.

Barry relocated to North Carolina in the spring of 2003, and brought with him the valuable knowledge of the strict, hurricane codes which govern south Florida. Herbster Homes Inc., implements these practices into each home constructed, insuring strength from the foundation to the ridge of the roof.

Barry emphasizes the importance of customer service to his crews.Communication with the homeowner, the sub contractors and all suppliers is the key to constructing a home that until now, you have only imagined.Herbster Homes Inc provides open floor plans for entertaining,lots of windows to allow natural light,farm house sinks, rain head showers and crown molding in all the rooms.We offer a one of a kind home for each client.

Barry Herbster is a licensed builder and requires all of his subcontractors to carry a license and insurance. Herbster Homes Inc is an active member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association(NKBA), an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and an active member of the United States Green Build Council (USGBC).
